Community - Reasons to watch season 4

Quiero aclararos que empecé a ver Community por recomendación de la señorita Whatever, y se ha convertido probablemente en el mayor favor que me haya hecho nunca. Así que cuando me sugirió que por qué no le escribía un post acerca de la serie, ni lo dudé. Así que aquí tenéis  Bueno, chicos: es jueves y dentro de una semana se estrena la esperada cuarta temporada de Community, ¡por fin! Y para celebrarlo había pensado: ¿y si hacemos un top de las razones por las que esta serie merece la pena? Pues allá va, muchachada:

Hi guys! First of all, I wanna tell you I started watching Community as a recommendation of Miss Whatever, and it has become the biggest favor she ever made me. So when she told be why didn't I write a post about the tv series, I didn't doubt it. So here it comes! Today is Thursday which means Community’s Season 4 premiere is only one week away! I’ve decided therefore to make up a top 8 reasons “Why to watch Community season 4” list. 

1) Troy and Abed’s new adventures (lo has leído cantando y lo sé): indudablemente los mejores personajes de la serie, la verdad es que estoy deseando que comience para ver qué nuevas frikadas se les ocurren a estos dos chiflados. Evil Abed no puede acabar ahí, seguro. Y por favor, ¿Troy y Britta? Tenemos que ver cómo va eso. 

1) Troy and Abed’s new adventures (I bet you sang it): They are the best characters in the whole show and I can’t wait to see what are they gonna do now. Evil Abed has to appear again and… Troy and Britta? What the hell… We gotta see how that turns out!

2) Dean Pelton: Dean, el personaje más variopinto (nunca mejor dicho) de toda la serie. Me tienen intrigados tanto su ropa como las idioteces que se le ocurrirán para que Greendale Community College sea un lugar guay en el que estudiar (enorme promo con la versión de los Juegos del Hambre). Y espero que los del City College, encabezados por Dean Spreck, no lo pongan fácil (sublime el final de la temporada segunda, con el paintball)

2) Dean Pelton is the most flamboyant character of all. I want to see (apart from his new outfits) what his new ideas are in order to make Community College a better place to study. The “Hunger Games” promo was huge! And I sincerely hope Dean Spreck and his City College colleagues won’t make it easy (just remember that epic Season 2 finale double paintball episode). 

3) Y hablando del paintball, por Dios que haya uno. El primero fue la novedad, ¡un puto paintball! Pero el segundo paintball, con un episodio doble con artista invitado especial incluido, fue simplemente genial, lleno de momentos memorables (la “muerte” de Magnitude, la aparición del vaquero misterioso, Abed Solo, la batalla campal en el campus de Greendale, el puto Pierce Hawthorne…) 

3 ) Considering paintball: please Dan Harmon, have mercy and make another paintball special. The first one was great because it was something new, but the second one was simply sublime. It was full of memorable moments (Mgnitude’s “death”, the mysterious cowboy, Abed-meets-Han Solo, the final battle and Pierce motherfucking Hawthorne!) 

4) Señor Chang: De ser profesor de español al intento de tomar Greendale, la creación de la legión de Changlorious Bastards… Ben Chang todavía tiene caña para dar. 

4) Señor Chang: Spanish teacher turned into Greendale police. He even attempted to take the College with his Changlorious Bastards… Ben Chang is alive and kicking!! 

5) Apariciones estelares: Jack Black, Josh Holloway, Giancarlo Esposito… ¿a quién nos traerán ahora?  

5) Guest stars: Jack Black was first, then came Josh Holloway and Giancarlo Esposito… who’s next? 

6) Pierce: A mi personalmente me gusta Pierce, aunque a veces parezca el personaje más flojillo de los siete de Greendale. Me encantan los comentarios racistas, homófobos, misóginos que suelta, además de su pertenencia a la secta budista, que en la tercera temporada le permite leer mentes (como la de Jeff, con el que, después de un profundo psicoanálisis, determina que es gay). Realmente quiero saber qué se le ocurre a Dan Harmon para quitarlo de en medio.

6) I personally like Pierce, even though he is considered one of the “worst” of all the Greendale Seven. I love his racist, homophobic, misogynistic comments. I also love the Buddhist cult he follows which allows him to read minds (great scene in which he reads Jeff’s mind and after a thorough analysis, Pierce determines Jeff is gay. Hilarious) I really wanna know what has Dan Harmon though to get rid of this character. 

7) Personajes secundarios: Starburns, Leonard (el viejo es el amo), Magnitude (pop, pop!), Fat Neil, Annie’s Boobs (el monito jejeje)… y por favor, que aparezca más el Dr. Ian Duncan (el profesor alcohólico amigo de Jeff que daba antropología, el británico) 

7) Secondary characters: Starburns, Leonard (this old guy is the best), Magnitude (pop,pop!), Fat Neil, Annie’s Boobs (the monkey)… and please I’d love more Dr. Ian Duncan (the British professor)

8) Capítulos temáticos: dibujitos, 8-bits, especiales de Halloween y Navidad… ¡todos geniales! 

8) Special episodes: cartoon, 8-bits, Halloween and Christmas specials… all of them are awesome! 

¿Se os ocurre alguna razón más? Esperemos que esta temporada sea tan buena como prometen, desde luego tiene muy buena pinta. Y recordad: Six Seasons and a Movie!!

Can you think of any more reasons? I hope this season to be as good or even better as the previous one. I can’t stand my excitement! And remember guys: Six Seasons and a Movie!!
