Hoy es 24 de diciembre, por lo que estamos en las puertas de la Navidad. Esa época de alegría, regalos, comidas familiares que duran hasta las tantas y, sobre todo, de quedarnos en el sofá calentitos con la manta viendo alguna serie mientras fuera hace un frío de muerte. Si tuviera que elegir una de las cosas que más me gustan de las series serían los episodios especiales de Navidad, y ese será mi regalo de Navidad para vosotros. ¡Feliz Navidad!
Today is 24th of December, which means that Christmas is about to start. This is a season full of joy, presents, family dinners that go on for hours and, of course, being warm in the sofa while watching your favorite series while outside is freezing. If I had to choose one of the things that I love the most of TV series, that would be the Christmas Special Episodes, and that is my gift for you this year. Merry Christmas!
1. Friends
Como todas las listas en esta vida, tiene que comenzar por Friends. Con 10 temporadas, tenemos muchos capítulos entre los que escoger, por lo que es muy difícil quedarme con uno de ellos - especialmente si incluimos también los capítulos de Acción de Gracias -. Pero si tengo que hacerlo me quedaría con el capítulo 7x10 "The One with the Holiday Armadillo", en el que Ross se queda por sorpresa con Ben y quiere sorprenderle disfrazándose de Santa Claus para él, pero lógicamente ya no quedan disfraces y acaba visitiéndose de Armadillo Navideño. Su explicación de la Navidad a Ben no tiene desperdicio.
As all the lists in this life, it has to start with Friends. With 10 seasons, it's really difficult to decide which Christmas Episode is the best one - specially if we also count the Thanksgiving's ones -. But if I had to choose, I would choose the S07E10 "The One with the Holiday Armadillo", in which Ross decides to surprise his son Ben with a Santa Claus' outfit, but since it's already Xmas they don't have any in the store, so he decides to dress up as a holiday armadillo. His explanation to Ben is quite worthy.

Best TV cameos ever
No hay nada mejor que ver a nuestros personajes favoritos aparecer de repente en mitad del escenario de otra serie. Es una milésima de segundo en la que te quedas de piedra y luego chillas "¡¡¡Ehhh!!! ¡Mira quién aparece en este capítulo!". Y ya puede ser un capítulo pésimo que a ti te ha encantado. Pues bien, se me ha ocurrido ir recordándoos poco a poco algunas de esas apariciones, y esta es la primera de las espero que muchas listas de Best TV cameos ever!!
There's nothing better than see our favorite characters appearing in another series' set out of the blue. In just a second we go from be completely shocked to screaming "OMG!!! Look who's in this episode!!!". And it doesn't matter if it turns out being the lamest episode ever, we will love it. Well, I've thought that it might be a good idea to write about those special appearances and this is the first of I hope many lists of Best TV cameos ever!

Claramente este es mi cameo favorito. Aunque hay apariciones de muchos famosos a lo largo del rodaje de Friends, como la de Brad Pitt ninguna. Gracias a él descubrimos el famoso club anti-Rachel, que la verdad, quién no habría querido formar parte de él alguna vez (especialmente si Brad Pitt estaba en él).
This is without doubt my favorite cameo. There are many guest stars in Friends, but Brad Pitt's is my favorite. Thanks to him we discover the "I hate Rachel"' club. Who wouldn't have liked to be in it once in a while (specially if Brad Pitt was in it)?

Mónica and Chandler
Admito que no veo Go on - aunque he tenido la intención de darle una pequeña oportunidad más de una vez -, pero me he emocionado como cualquier otro que haya o siga siendo un enganchado de Friends, al ver que la pareja volvería a reunirse en esta serie. Go On está protagonizada por Matthew Perry (Chandler), y ya ha traído varios famosos a hacer un cameo, pero desde luego el que más me ha entusiasmado es de su querida Mónica, Courtney Cox.

Queridos Reyes Magos
Se acercan los Reyes, y es la hora de mandar la carta. Este año estoy más seriéfila que nunca, y cómo no, también mi carta. Gossip Girl ha terminado, Grey's Anatomy lo hará en breve, Breaking Bad este verano, a Dexter le queda una temporada y a Community otra. Por eso, mi carta va dedicada a esas series y a esos capítulos que solo veríamos gracias a un milagro navideño.
Xmas has come, and we gotta ask Santa for our presents. This year I am more seriesholic than ever, and so my xmas' wishes. Gossip Girl is over, Grey's Anatomy will be over in a couple of weeks, Breaking Bad this summer, Dexter has just one season left and so does Community. This is the reason my wishes are dedicated to those series and those episodes we will never watch unless there's a xmas miracle.

Series miticas
A estas alturas ya sabréis que soy una auténtica amante de las series. Ahora mismo hay muchas que merecen la pena, como (casi) cualquiera de las que hablo habitualmente. Pero cada año llegan los estrenos de series, y pocas sobreviven más allá de la primera temporada. Es una pena. Todos los años me pregunto si alguna vez harán alguna serie como cualquiera de las mitiquísimas, aunque confieso que no las he visto todas. ¿Que de cuales estoy hablando? Echa un vistazo! (no, por una vez prometo no hablar de Lost... o lo intentaré!)
By this time you gotta know that I am a true series-lover. Right now there are many worthy tv series, like (almost) all those I usually talk about. But every year september arrives, and with it the series premiere, and almost none of them survives the first season. It's quite sad. Every fucking year I ask myself if one day there would be aired a tv series as good as one of the classics, even I gotta confess I haven't watched them all. Are you asking yourselves which tv series do I mean with "the classics"? Well, just have a look below! (I promise I won't talk of Lost... or at least I will try!)
