Pues la extraña novia de Sheldon - aunque comparada con él la verdad es que es de lo más normal - protagonizó años atrás la serie ochentera Blossom, comedia centrada en esta adolescente y su familia. La intro no tiene desperdicio.

Well, the weird girlfriend of Sheldon - okay, compared with him she's completely normal - was the main character of the 80's series Blossom, a comedy centered in this adolescent and her family. Lo hizo compartiendo asiento en un avión junto a Rachel, la cual se dirigía a Londres a decirle a Ross que le quería y estropear su boda. Hugh Laurei ya apuntaba maneras en cuanto al abuso de fármacos y no soportar a la gente. ¡Echadle un vistazo al vídeo!

The most famous doctor of TV appeared years before House on Friends. He appeared in the same plane as Rachel, who was traveling to London to stop Ross' wedding telling him that she loved him. Hugh Laurie was just beginning to abuse narcotics and to hate people, just watch the video!

Como todos sabéis - y si no sólo leed el título del blog - soy una gran amante de Lost. Y por ello, esta tercera edición será Best TV Cameos Ever, LOST EDITION!

Today is Sunday, and it means that tomorrow starts the week and we are all thinking that it sucks that the weekend is over, but it means too that Best TV Cameos Ever is back! There's a new sheriff in town!

For Community and Lost's fans, the paintball-episode at the end of the season in which Josh Holloway appears as the bad guy is epic. Only his appearence makes a great episode - although it would have been a great episode anyway -. Watch the video and tell me you don´t miss Sawyer... There´s a new sheriff in town!

Best TV cameos ever

No hay nada mejor que ver a nuestros personajes favoritos aparecer de repente en mitad del escenario de otra serie. Es una milésima de segundo en la que te quedas de piedra y luego chillas "¡¡¡Ehhh!!! ¡Mira quién aparece en este capítulo!". Y ya puede ser un capítulo pésimo que a ti te ha encantado. Pues bien, se me ha ocurrido ir recordándoos poco a poco algunas de esas apariciones, y esta es la primera de las espero que muchas listas de Best TV cameos ever!!

There's nothing better than see our favorite characters appearing in another series' set out of the blue. In just a second we go from be completely shocked to screaming "OMG!!! Look who's in this episode!!!". And it doesn't matter if it turns out being the lamest episode ever, we will love it. Well, I've thought that it might be a good idea to write about those special appearances  and this is the first of I hope many lists of Best TV cameos ever!

Claramente este es mi cameo favorito. Aunque hay apariciones de muchos famosos a lo largo del rodaje de Friends, como la de Brad Pitt ninguna. Gracias a él descubrimos el famoso club anti-Rachel, que la verdad, quién no habría querido formar parte de él alguna vez (especialmente si Brad Pitt estaba en él). 

This is without doubt my favorite cameo. There are many guest stars in Friends, but Brad Pitt's is my favorite. Thanks to him we discover the "I hate Rachel"' club. Who wouldn't have liked to be in it once in a while (specially if Brad Pitt was in it)?

Incluso para los que somos fans incondicionales de Lost, está muy claro que la serie fue una apuesta muy arriesgada. ¿Un avión que se estrella en una isla llena de misterios que no sólo no se resuelven sino que aumentan cada temporada? Parece la típica serie de la que te cansas después de tres capítulos sin que te resuelvan nada - y para muchos probablemente así fue -. Entonces, siendo la abc una cadena que no se caracteriza precisamente por apuestas arriesgadas, ¿cómo fue aceptado el piloto?

Even for the unconditional fans of Lost like me, it's clear that the series was such a risky bet. A plane that crashes in an island full of mysteries which not only don't get resolved but increase every season? It seems the kind of show you would get tired of after two episodes without knowing what the hell is going on - and for many it probably was like that -. And knowing that abc isn't famous for its risky projects, how come they accepted the pilot?

Comic-Con 2013

Uno de mis grandes sueños siempre ha sido ir a la Comic-Con en San Diego (de hecho prometo casarme con quién se digne a llevarme). Para los afortunados - a los que odio - que vayan, comenzará el miércoles 17 de Julio y terminará el domingo 21. Van casi todas las series del momento, y aunque al final os pongo el planing completo, primero quiero destacaros algunas series que van. 

One of my biggest dreams has always been to go to the Comic-Con in San Diego (actually, I've promised to marry with anyone that takes me). For those lucky enough to go, it will start the wednesday 17th of July, and will end the Sunday 21st. Almost all the actual tv series are going, and eventhough at the bottom there's the complete schedule, I'll like to highlight first some of them. 

Lost - It's destiny

Hay días en los que parece que los astros se han alineado y te han mandado una señal. Pues hoy ha pasado. Pero en mi caso la señal es en forma de numeros de Lost. Señores,  voy a coger un avión y me encuentro con lo que teneis debajo en la foto. 8 15 16 23. ¿Casualidad? Imposible. No siendo yo. Así que asumiré que ha llegado mi hora de ir a la isla, Jacob reclama mi presencia. Ante esta posibilidad, no me busquéis, estaré cumpliendo con mi destino. Quizás soy el sacrificio que requiere la isla,  o debo ir para redimirme, o para ser la sucesora de Jacob. Sea como sea, see you in another life, brotha.

There are days when you feel someone or something is trying to tell you something. Well, this is one of those days. But in my case the signal comes with the bad numers, the Lost numbers. Guys, I'm about to take a plane and I have juat found this signal that is in the photo below. 8 15 16 23. Just a coincidence? I seriously doubt it. Not being me. So I assume my time has come to go to the island, Jacob needs me. If the time comes, don't look for me, I'll be fulfilling my destiny. I might be the sacrifice that the island needs, or maybe I'm going to redime myself, or to be the succesor of Jacob. Whatever it is, see you in another life, brotha.

¡Hola Whatevers! Vamos a hablar acerca de las muertes más impactantes, inesperadas o, por qué no decirlo, deseadas de la historia de las series de tv. Evidentemente incluye spoilers motivo de divorcios y homicidios, así que antes de desplegar la entrada fijaos en la serie y la temporada a la que corresponde. Para que no salgáis huyendo del post, he puesto un botón de "Show spoiler" para cada una de las 7 muertes, así que seguid leyendo sin miedo. 

Hi Whatevers! We´re gonna talk about the most shocking, unexpected or, why not, wanted deaths in the history of tv series. Obviously it contains spoilers, cause of divorces and homicides, so be sure of what show and season we are talking about in each paragraph before open it. To avoid making you run away of the post, I have put a "Show spoiler" bottom in each one of the 7 deaths, so don't you worry: it's safe to keep reading! 

Round 10 - Drama

Y la categoría de drama que no podría ser más dificil. Tenemos a los dos mejores personajes de Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen y Tyrion Lannister, y compitiendo contra el mitiquísimo John Locke. ¿Sinceramente? Dudo que sea capaz de votar esta ronda.  Espero que vosotros lo tengáis más fácil, ¡así que a votar!

And the drama category couldn't be more difficult. We have the best two characters from Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister, against the great John Locke. Fuck, I really think I can't vote this round. Hope it will be easier for you guys, so vote!

Round 9 closed!!!

Decir que esta semana me he retrasado con los Whatever Awards sería quedarme muy corta, pero es lo que tiene ir una semanita de vuelta a casa, que dejas de meterte en Facebook, Twitter y tu blog para tener algo de vida social. Perdonadme, no volverá a pasar - en verdad en dos semanas volverá a pasar, ¡voy avisando! -. Bueno, volviendo a lo que os interesa que está claro que no es mi vida, por fin he cerrado la ronda 9 de los Whatever Awards, y aquí tenéis a los ganadores.

I was going to say that I was a little bit delayed with the Whatever Awards this week, but I believe you wouldn't have believe that shit. I went back home for a week, and I had social life, which kept me out of Facebook, Twitter and the blog. So sorry guys, won't happen again - just bullshit, it will happen again in two weeks -. Well, going back to what you are interested in - which clearly isn't my life -, I have finally closed Round 9 of the Whatever Awards and here are the winners!

Round 9 - Drama

Buenas noches señores. Sí, os he tenido abandonados, y mucho, pero tengo excusa, y es que he entrado en la modernidad, en el siglo XXI, y he dejado atrás la Edad de Piedra en lo que se refiere a tecnología. Sí, me he comprado un Mac, así que perdonadme si tardo un tiempo en entenderme con él. Además he tenido una visita parental a Italia, pero claro eso es secundario al Mac, ¿no? Bueno, a lo que iba.

What's up, guys? Yes, I know, I have abandoned you, but I gotta an excuse, 'cause I have actualized myself, I have entered in the XXI century and left behind the Stone Age in tech. Yes. I have bought a Mac. So forgive me if it takes a while before I get used to it. Moreover, my parents came to visit me in Italy, but of course that's secondary considering the Mac, right? 

Round 6 - Drama

Esta categoría es diferente. Especial. Mítica. Imposible. O al menos a mi me lo parece a la hora de elegir. Es la única que tiene personajes de series que no se están emitiendo en este momento, pero que han sido tan geniales para mi que no podía hacer unos premios de los mejores personajes de series sin meterlos. ¿De quién os estoy hablando?

This cathegory is different. Special. Impossible. Or at least for me it's gonna be impossible to vote in this one. Is the only one where the characters are from tv series that have already finished, but they are so good that I couldn't make this awards without including them. Who I am talking about?

En primer lugar, John Locke. Hombre de fe. El único que entendió la isla desde el primer día. El único del que Ben llegó a tener celos. El favorito de Jacob. La marioneta del humo negro. El de "I've looked into the eye of this island, and what I saw... was beautiful". El de "Do you really think all this is an accident? That we, a group of strangers survived, many of us with just superficial injuries? Do you think we crashed on this place by coincidence, especially, this place? We were brought here for a purpose, for a reason, all of us. Each one of us was brought here for a reason", esa frase que nos dejó a todo atontados delante de la televisión. 

First of all, John Locke. Man of faith. The only one that understood the island from the begining. The only one that Ben was ever jelous of. Jacob's favourite. Smoky's puppet. The one of "I've looked into the eye of this island, and what I saw... was beautiful". The one of "Do you really think all this is an accident? That we, a group of strangers survived, many of us with just superficial injuries? Do you think we crashed on this place by coincidence, especially, this place? We were brought here for a purpose, for a reason, all of us. Each one of us was brought here for a reason", that sentence that left us all in shock in front of the tv.

Y después, Tony Soprano, mi último y gran descubrimiento. Probablemente uno de los mejores personajes que se han hecho en la historia. El que trabaja en el Bada Bing, pero se acuesta por las noches junto a Cam, el que ordena sin pestañear cargarse a alguien pero riñe a AJ por saltarse una clase, el que se acuesta con stripers pero no acepta que Meadow salga con un negro. Ese, Tony Soprano. 

And then, Tony Soprano, my last and biggest discover. Probably one of the best characters ever made for tv. The one that works in Bada Bing, but kisses Cam before going to sleep, the one that orders someone's death, but tells off AJ for his grades at school, the one that sleeps with strippers but doesn't like Meadow dating a black guy. That one, Tony Soprano.

¿Dificil? No creo ni que sea capaz de votar en esta ronda.

Oh, Dios. No se cómo no he descubierto esto antes. Por favor, echadle un vistazo a estas parodias de nuestras mejores series en formato RPG: Lost, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Gallactica, The Wire y Doctor Who. Bueno, también Jersey Shore, que aunque no cuente sigue teniendo toda la gracia. No tienen desperdicio. ¡Más tras el salto!

Oh My God. Can't believe I hadn't discovered this before! Gotta watch these parodies of our favourite tv series in RPG: Lost, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Gallactica and Doctor Who. Queridos Reyes Magos

Se acercan los Reyes, y es la hora de mandar la carta. Este año estoy más seriéfila que nunca, y cómo no, también mi carta. Gossip Girl ha terminado, Grey's Anatomy lo hará en breve, Breaking Bad este verano, a Dexter le queda una temporada y a Community otra. Por eso, mi carta va dedicada a esas series y a esos capítulos que solo veríamos gracias a un milagro navideño.

Xmas has come, and we gotta ask Santa for our presents. This year I am more seriesholic than ever, and so my xmas' wishes. Gossip Girl is over, Grey's Anatomy will be over in a couple of weeks, Breaking Bad this summer, Dexter has just one season left and so does Community. This is the reason my wishes are dedicated to those series and those episodes we will never watch unless there's a xmas miracle. 

Once Upon A Time - 108 reasons to watch it (not really)

La ABC nos anunciaba la segunda temporada de Once Upon A Time (OUAT) con el eslogan de "Magic is coming" - que decir que está inspirado obviamente en Game of Thrones sería quedarse corto - . Para quien no se acuerde, la última temporada terminó con Emma rompiendo el hechizo que había tenido paralizada a Storybrooke por 28 años. No habían pasado ni dos minutos desde que se había roto el hechizo que Rumpelstiltskin provocó que un sospechoso humo morado cubriera la ciudad, supuestamente devolviendo la magia al pueblo... De ahí el slogan.

ABC promoted the second season of Once Upon A Time (OUAT) with the slogan "Magic is coming" - which saying it's based in Game of Thrones wouldn't be enough - . For those who have already forgotten it, last season ended with Emma breaking the spell that had kept Storybrooke frozen for 28 years. It hadn't passed two minutes since the spell was broken, that Rumpelstiltskin spread a suspicious purple smoke that covered the town, supously returning magic to Storybrooke... And here we've got the reason for the slogan!

Lost

Sí, lo sé. Lost acabó hace ya casi tres años. Pero no podía permitirme empezar un blog de series y no hablar de mi gran predilecta.

I know. It's been three years since Lost ended. But I couldn't allow myself to start this blog without talking of my biggest love.

Se que a muchos no os gustó el final de Lost. Fue raro, os lo admito. La última temporada... dificil de sobrellevar. Hay que ser una gran friki (y me enorgullezco pensando que yo lo soy) para soportar esa última temporada, llena de momentos que no venían a cuento y de prisas por explicar todos aquellos misterios. Damon Lindelof y Carlton Cuse ya no sabían como resolver el lío en el que se habían metido, y crearon una temporada llena de fallos.

I know many of you didn't like the end of Lost. It was weird, I admit it. The last season... well, dificult to understand. You've gotta be a huge freak (and I am proud of declaring myself as one) to handle this last season, full of hurries to explain all those mysteries. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse didn't know anymore how to handle the situation, so they created a season full of fakes.
