Best TV Cameos VI

Hace tanto que no tengo tiempo para actualizar esta sección que quizás se os haya hasta olvidado, pero hubo una época en la que semanalmente actualizaba los mejores cameos de la televisión. Pues vamos a volver a hacerlo desde No todo puede ser Lost, y no se me ocurre una mejor manera de hacerlo que dedicándola enteramente a la gran serie que es Six Feet Under. ¡Aquí os los dejo!

It's been a while since the last time I actualized this section, and you might have forgotten that I used to write about the Best TV Cameos weekly. But from No todo puede ser Lost we are going to continue with the lost tradition, and there's no better way of doing it that beginning with the cameos of the amazing series that Six Feet Under is. Here it is!

El actor conocido por su papel en How I Met Your Mother (Ted Mosby) apareció previamente en Six Feet Under como uno de los muchos clientes de los que se encarga la funeraria Fisher and Sons y que, para variar, habla con Nate después de muerto. 

The actor best known for his role on How I Met Your Mother (Ted Mosby) appeared on Six Feet Under as one of the many clients of Fisher and Sons funerary. Obviously, he speaks to Nate from the afterlife.

Anti-Whatever Awards - My own Razzies

Todos sabemos que hoy es la noche de los Oscars, pero pocos saben qué premios se entregaron ayer. Bueno, más o menos, porque os hablo de los Razzies, los premios que se entregan a la otra parte del séptimo arte. Peor película  peor actor principal, peor dirección... ¿Os vais haciendo ya una idea acerca de lo que consisten los Razzies? Bien, pues me han sugerido hacer unos Razzies de series, y creo que es una idea genial, porque TODOS tenemos a más de un personaje que estamos deseando que desaparezca de alguna serie. Así que a continuación, ¡mis Razzies!

We all know that tonight is the night of the Oscars, but I wonder how many of you know which awards were given yesterday night. Well, kind of, 'cause I'm talking about the Razzies, the awards that are given to the other part of the cast of the seventh art. Worst picture, worst actor, worst director... Nice awards, right? Well, someone suggested me why didn't I made my own Razzies of tv series, and I thought it was a great idea, 'cause we ALL have a character that we hate. So keep reading... my own Razzies!

Round 4 closed!!!

Terminada la cuarta ronda de los Whatever Awards, tenemos como ganadores a Chuck Bass y Walter White, lo cual era de esperar. Esta vez no os voy a reñir por el bajo número de votos  (que ha sido MUY bajo) ya que he tenido una semana ocupada y no es que haya posteado mucho precisamente. Pero para la siguiente ronda espero una participación más alta, que me gusta especialmente, biatch!! En unos minutos... ¡la ronda 5!

The fourth round of the Whatever Awards has finished, with Chuck Bass and Walter White as winners - yeah, I also expected it -. This time I'm not gonna tell you off for the low number of votes (which has been extremely low!) 'cause I have been quite busy and haven't almost posted in all week. But I do wanna a high participation in the next round, 'cause I specially like the next one, biatch!! In a few minutes... Round 5!!

Round 4 - Comedy

Y la ronda de comedia va de degenerados. Pero con cariño. Por un lado, "I am Chuck Bass", que creo que no hará falta que os diga nada más. Y por otro lado, Masuka, el compañero forense de Dexter que es un tanto especial. 

And the comedy cathegory is about degenerates (just kidding, I do love them). On the one hand, "I am Chuck Bass", I believe I don't have to say anything else. And on the other, Masuka, Dex's special colleague. 

Gossip Girl - versión Acapulco (literal)

¿Cómo? ¿Más noticias de Gossip Girl? ¿Pero no había acabado y nos habíamos librado para siempre de Serena y Queen B? Sí, que no cunda el pánico. Resulta que no han tenido suficiente con 6 temporadas de Gossip Girl en Latinoamérica, por lo que han decidido, atención, crear su versión de la serie. ¿El nombre? Sí, Gossip Girl Acapulco.

What? More news about Gossip Girl? But wasn't it over? Didn't we get rid of Serena and Queen B for good? Yes, don't freak out. It seems than in South America they didn't have enough with six seasons of Gossip Girl, so they have just created their own version of the tb series. Not kidding. The name? Gossip Girl... Acapulco. 

Tanto si habéis visto la serie como si no os recomiendo que le echéis un vistazo al trailer a continuación, porque unas risas os echáis seguro. Además, el acento sudaméricano la hace, si es posible, parecer aún más una telenovela. 

Doesn't matter if you've watched the series or not, you gotta see this promo, 'cause you'll laugh your ass off. The southamerican accent makes the series seems evenmore - if possible - like a soap opera. 

Gossip Girl - The end

Han pasado ya 6 años desde que veíamos a este grupo de adolescentes del Upper East Side sentados en las escaleras del Constance. Y lástima que no se haya quedado así, porque desde entonces no hizo más que empeorar. La serie emitió su último episodio la semana pasada - por fin -, y el final ha sido más que esperable, con excepción del descubrimiento de Gossip Girl, que decir que está cogido con pinzas se queda corto.

There's been 6 years since we saw this Upper East Side adolescent's group sitting in the stairs of the Constance. And what a shame it didn't remain like that, 'cause since then the series has done nothing but to worsen. Last week, the last episode was broadcasted - finally -, and the end has been more than expectable, with the exception of who Gossip Girl was. 

Gossip Girl - New York, I Love You XOXO

"Hey, Upper East Siders... Gossip girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of manhattan's elite."

¿Cuántas veces habremos escuchado ya esa frase? Así comenzaba hace ya 6 años la primera temporada de Gossip Girl, y capítulo tras capítulo hemos oído a Kristen Bell - que es la que le pone la voz a la Reina Cotilla - decir esta frase. ¿Descubriremos algún día quién es? Si es así, a la cadena le vendría bien darse prisa, especialmente porque ya solo quedan 6 capítulos para que acabe la sexta y última temporada de esta serie. El episodio final (6x10 "New York, I Love You XOXO") se emitirá el próximo 17 de diciembre, y nos encontraremos con el cameo de la mismísima Kristen Bell. ¿Serán tan poco originales de "descubrir" que ella es Gossip Girl?

How many times have we heard this quote? This is how the tv series started six years ago, and since then we have heard Kristen Bell - she lends her voice - saying this same quote in every damned episode. Will we discover who is Gossip Girl? If so, the screenwriters gotta hurry up, 'cause there're just 6 episodes left till the end of the sixth and last season of Gossip Girl! The season finale (S06E10 "New York, I Love You XOXO") will be aired the next December 17th, in which Kristen Bell herself would appear as a special guest. Will the screenwriters be so unoriginal to "discover" that she is the real Gossip Girl? Hope not!

No other than Kristen Bell herself, who seems to be getting on with Queen B, how come!
Looks like Chuck isn't having that much fun.

Gossip Girl y Grey's Anatomy - Seriously?

Es de conocimiento popular que ninguna serie (ni tampoco una saga de películas o libros) puede ser alargada  indefinidamente. Hay muchos ejemplos de series que se las han cargado los guionistas por querer que dure una temporada más con tal de ganarle el dinero correspondiente. Como al excepción que confirma la regla, nos encontramos con Friends, y ni eso, porque en la última temporada ya se nota un claro declive.

It's known that no tv series (neither a film's or book's saga) can be dwelled on indefinitely. There are many examples of tv series fucked up by the lame attempt of the producers to continue with another season just to increase the earnings. As an exception to the rule stands Friends, the only one which has survived almost perfectly 10 season - although the slope was palpable in the last season-.

Pues bien, dos de esas - muchas - series que han sufrido este efecto son Gossip Girl y Grey's Anatomy, series que hace dos días como quien dice me tenían enganchadísima y que ahora ya solo veo por costumbre y porque joder, después de 8 años ya no me voy a quedar sin saber cómo acaba, ¿no?

Two of those tv series which have suffered this effect are Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy, tv series that hooked me for years and the only reason to still watch them is the habit. And of course, after 8 fucking years, I couldn't live without knowing how they're gonna end!
