How I Met Your Mother - Cristin Milioti denies the mother's death

Como todos sabéis - y si no lo sabéis, aquí os lo dejo desarrollado -, en las últimas semanas ha ido cobrando cada vez más importancia la "Dead Mother Theory". Tras el último capítulo, la teoría parecía más segura que nunca, y casi imposible que fuera otro el final. Pues aquí os dejo un video en el que Cristin Milioti, la actriz que hace de la madre, nos da una pista de que no, que no muere. 

As you all already know - and if you don't, here you can read it - during the last few weeks the "Dead Mother Theory" has gained weight. After the last episode, it's more secure than ever, and it's almost imposible that there's another ending different than that one. Well, here's a video of Cristin Milioti, the actress that plays the mother, where she gives us a hint that she won't die. 




Como veís, la actriz realmente no niega que vaya a morir, simplemente dice "That's insane" ("Eso es una locura"). Y la verdad, podría significar que la madre muere y sí, eso es una locura. También tenemos que recordar que es una actriz y que su trabajo consiste justo en eso, en mentir, y nos podría estar engañando muy fácilmente. Además, ¿os imagináis a la actriz diciendo que la teoría es verdad a tan pocos capítulos del final?

As you can see, she doesn't exactly say that she doesn't die, but she says "That's insane". That could surely mean that the mother dies and that is of course completely insane. We got to remember that she is an actress and her job is to lie to us, so she could be just telling a lie quite easily. And can you imagine her confirming that the theory is true just a few episodes from the finale? No, right? 

La otra posibilidad es que Cristin Milioti esté diciendo la verdad y no muera. Y entonces es cuando yo me pregunto... ¿cómo carajo van a arreglar los guionistas la historia? No irán simplemente a hacer como si la llorera de Ted nunca hubiera existido, ¿verdad? Tened cuidado, que esto de jugar con los fans y luego darle la vuelta a la historia nunca ha salido bien. 

The other possibility is that Critin Milioti is actually telling the truth and the mother doesn't die. In which case I wonder... what the hell are the writers going to do to explain the plot? They can't just ignore that scene of Ted crying... right? Be careful, playing with the fans and twisting completely the plot never helped any writer!
