We all know that the life of the characters of a sitcom isn't precisely boring. There's always something happening in their lives. The other day I reached the conclusion that if the series goes on like this, it's going to be the season with more gags per squared meter ever. Each episode is one or two hours of the weekend, and in those hours have happened more interesting things that to many of us in the last months. With this I wanna tell you that it's difficult to maintain this level of interest by the eight episode, since I believe we'll be bored already of Farhampton. I'm happy there's another season, but maybe it should have had less episodes.
We start with a Ted shocked when discovering that Barney saw him at the carousel. Just for one second we buy that Barney trust Ted, but we all know that there will always be a piece of Robin in our architect's heart.
As I told you last week, this season will use gags from lasts seasons, as the Bro Code and Marshpillow (2.0). I'd like to think that the writers aren't going to refill the whole season with this. The best of the episode without doubt is Marshall - despite of the distance -.
Two are the main topics in The Broken Code. Barney's doubts towards Ted and Robin, and the lack of friends of Robin.

We all have once wondered this once, who where and what happened with the girls that joined Robin in the pilot? It's true that Robin is quite masculine - much more than Ted actually -, but that's not the same that she hates women. She doesn't have friends, but neither do Barney or Lily. It's a sitcom, and the group of friends is quite closed to new incorporations. But Robin not only doesn't have friends, she avoids having them - just think of Patricee!!!! -. But why do you need twenty pals if you can have one good best friend. And those are Lily and Robin, two good friends that are enough for each other.
After all these years Ted confess us that he has tried to forget Robin, but it will always be weird seeing his best friend marrying his big first love. And that's the moment when Marshall plays the judge and enters in the debate wether or not Ted had broken the Bro code. Ted and Barney have to sit in the beach and hold hands to see if it's weird, which is probably the best scene of the episode. Watching them holding hands while a 2.0 Marshall observes them reminds us why we like this show.

And where the hell is the Mother? Was I the only one that when Robin was trying to make friends hoped that she would talk with her? The sold the season saying that she was going to be the main character of the season, and I don't know if it's because of my lack of patience, but there have passed two episodes without her and I don't like it.

It has been an average episode, I really believe this season could do much better. We'll try to be patients and trust that the best is yet to come.
