Community - There's still hope for the fans

Queridos fans de Community: aún hay esperanza. Si la cancelación de la serie por la NBC tras la quinta temporada y la noticia de que Gillian Jacobs (Britta) se pasaba a Girls no habían podido con nosotros, nada lo haría. Hemos resistido un mes sin ninguna esperanza salvo aquellas palabras de Dan Harmon de que haría lo posible por revivir la serie. Y, por una vez, podemos creernos que existe un pequeño futuro esperanzador por Community al final del túnel. 

Dear Community fans: there's still hope. If the cancellation after the fifth season and the news about Gillian Jacobs (Britta) joining Girls couldn't destroy us, nothing would. We have survived a whole month without any hope but Dan Harmon's words saying that he would do as much as he could to revive the series. And finally, we might be seeing some silver lightning at the end of the tunnel. 

Según nos informa Deadline, Sony Pictures Television (que es el estudio de Community) está hablando con la cadena Hulu acerca de la posibilidad de emitir los restantes 13 capítulos que nos faltan para completar esa ansiada sexta temporada. Claro que de aquí a que hagan un trato nos queda aún mucho camino por recorrer.

Deadline informed that Sony Pictures Television (Community's studio) is having some conversations with Hulu about the possibility of broadcasting the last 13 episodes of the series to achieve the sixth season. Of course, there's still a lot to do before this becomes a real deal. 

Actualmente, Hulu está emitiendo las temporadas antiguas de Community, y según las estadísticas, la serie es la mayor visitada en su página web. Además, Hulu busca convertirse en una Netflix, es decir, producir sus propias serie. ¿Y qué mejor forma de hacerlo que reviviendo una serie con tantísimos fans - aunque no audiencia, seamos sinceros -? La gran inversión económica que supondría emitir la temporada es el único motivo por el que Hulu podría negarse a este trato.

Right now Hulu is broadcasting the five seasons of Community, and the statistics show that it is the most visited series in their webpage. Also, Hulu is trying to become the next Netflix producing its own series. And is there a better way to do it that by producing this beloved by some many fans series - although it doesn't have that much an audience, to be honest -? The huge economic investment would be the only thing that could stop this amazing deal. 

Entonces... ¿tenemos serie? Pues no lo se, señores. Pero desde luego estamos mucho más cerca de tenerla que a principios de mes. Así que rezad todos porque Dan Harmon consiga su trato y mientras os pongo esta canción que salió antes de que se estrenase la cuarta temporada y que seguro que nos recuerda por qué queremos tantísimo que Hulu acepte la oferta.

So... do we have a new season? Well, I don't know. But I'm sure that we have more chances right now that we had at the beginning of this month. So start praying you all for Dan Harmon to get this deal and in the meantime listen to this song that was made just before the fourth season and that I'm sure will remind you why we are all so excited for the possibility of Hulu accepting the offer!
