American Horror Story - Bloody face's voice

Terminadas (casi) mis vacaciones, lo primero que he hecho, obviamente, ha sido ponerme al día con AHS - porque eso de empezar a estudiar Medicina como que no -. Después de fliparlo con la segunda parte del capítulo de Anna Frank, el episodio 6 parece algo decepcionante. Pero ha habido un pequeño detalle que personalmente me ha encantado... ¿ Queréis saberlo? Pues ya sabéis. [ojo! spoilers]

With my vacances (almost) finished, the first thing I've done is catch up with AHS - 'cause study Medicine isn't just my style -. After freaking out with the second part of Anne Frank's episode, the sixth one seems quite disappointing. But there was a little detail that I've personally enjoyed... Do you wanna know it? Para los que hayáis visto la primera temporada (que asumo que es todo el mundo), quizás os haya sonado la voz de la llamada telefónica de Bloody Face al detective. A mi me ha sonado, pero como soy completamente inútil reconociendo voces lo he ignorado por completo. Hasta que me he encontrado que la voz corresponde al mismísimo Dylan McDermott. ¿Cómo? ¿Dylan qué? Quizás os suene más por el nombre de Ben Harmon. O si no, por su careto inolvidable que aparece en la foto de abajo. 

For those of you who have seen the first season (and I think it must be all of you), maybe you've found familiar the voice in the telephone call that Bloody Face makes to the detective. I found it familiar, but considering how useless I am recognizing voices, I've ignored it. Or so I did 'till I found out that the voice belonged to Dylan McDermott himself. What? Dylan who? Maybe you know him by Ben Harmon. Or if not, just take a look to the photo below.

Parece ser que cuando a Ryan Murphy le gusta un actor no se lo quita ni con agua caliente. Y esto es lo que le ha pasado con McDermott, que se sabía que iba a tener su aparición estelar en esta segunda temporada pero hasta el momento no se sabía cómo. Y aquí lo tenemos, como la versión moderna de Bloody Face. Aún no se sabe nada, así que yo personalmente estoy ansiosa por saber cómo llegar a seguir la estela del Dr. Thredson. Otro ejemplo más de esto es que próximamente tendremos la incorporación de la señorita Moria, que también apareció en la primera temporada. ¿Qué papel interpretará? Ni zorra. ¡Cuando me entere prometo decíroslo! 

It seems that Ryan Murphy is in love with the actors of the first season. One of many is McDermott. It was known that we was going to appear in this season, but his role wasn't yet clear. And here he is, as the modern version of Bloody Face. Nothing has been revealed, so I am really excited to know who the hell he followed Dr. Thredson's path. Another example of this is the return of another actor from the first season in the next episodes, miss Moria. What role will she be playing? Don't know yet. I promise: as soon as I discover it, I will post it!

En cuanto a mi opinión acerca de los últimos dos capítulos, me está encantando el papel que hace la hermana Eunice (Lily Rabe) en esta temporada. Es claramente de lo mejorcito (y eso considerando que tiene que competir con Jessica Lange, que no es poco). Las escenas de la lencería roja con el crucifijo o de la charla "aleccionadora" a la niña asesina son para no perderse ni un detalle. La trama de esta segunda temporada me está encantado, es mucho mejor que la primera, más realista, lo cual hace que me cague aún más - aunque no tengan los típicos sustos repentinos que veíamos en la casa encantada -.

In my opinion, the role of Sister Eunice (Lily Rabe) in this second season is just awesome. Clearly, she is one of the best things in AHS at the moment (and considering that she has to compete with Jessica Lange, this is saying a lot). The scenes of the red lingerie, dancing in front of the crucifix, and the one "telling off" the little murder girl are brilliant. I love the plot of this season, it's much more realistic, which means it's also scarier - even it lacks the sudden frights of the haunted house -.
