En estas dos semanas hemos tenido dos episodios muy dispares, por un lado aprendemos la lección de que por Dios no se nos olvide enviar un regalo en la boda de nuestros mejores amigos, pero lo que es más importante, ¡nunca cabrees a tu prometida los días previos a la boda! Del segundo episodio nos quedamos más con la sensación de que en la vida del señor Mosby nada ocurre por casualidad y de que no hay mal que por bien no venga.

In this couple of weeks we've learned a few lessons in the lasts episodes of HIMYM, like that you shouldn't forget giving your best friends their wedding gift but specially never piss off your fiancée a few days before the wedding! In the second episode we've learned that nothing in the life of Mr. Mosby happens without a reason. 

The Big Bang Theory - Best episode ever

Después de 7 años, The Big Bang Theory es una de las grandes comedias que se están emitiendo en el momento. A pesar de que tuvo un pequeño bache, la incorporación de la parte femenina ayudó mucho a aumentar la audiencia de nuestros frikis favoritos. Y muestra de ello es el último capítulo, S07E06 "The Romance Resonance", que puede ser uno de los mejores capítulos que hemos visto hasta el momento.

After 7 years, The Big Bang Theory is one of the best comedies at the moment. Despite the decrease in the audience a few years ago, there's no doubt that the incorporation of the female part helped our favorite freaks to be what they are now. And a proof of this is its last episode, S07E06 "The Romance Resonance", which might be one of the best episodes we have ever seen of the series. 

La escena de Howard cantándole a Bernadette por el aniversario de su primera cita es simplemente genial y preciosa. Serán mis hormonas femeninas, pero creo que es la primera vez que se me saltan las lágrimas con esta serie. Y como siempre, el personaje principal de la serie, Sheldon, tenía que destacar. Alucinante la última escena, en la que por un momento nos engañan y hacen creer que Sheldon va a besar - OMG! - a Amy. Seguid así TBBT, seguiréis ganando Emmys como rosquillas. 

Howard's scene singing to Bernadette for the anniversary of their first day is great and beautiful. It might be my feminine hormones' fault, but I think it's the first time I shed a tear with this series. And as always, the main character of the series, Sheldon, had to stand out. The last scene where they trick us and make us believe that Sheldon wants to kiss - OMG - Amy is just amazing. Keep on like this and you will continue winning Emmys!

One year and many more to come

Hoy hace exactamente un año que encendí el ordenador dispuesta a crear un blog de series. El título, curiosamente, fue lo que menos me costó decidir: tenía que estar relacionado con Lost. Como todo. Un año después, con 270 entradas y casi 40.000 visitas, no puedo estar más contenta. Ha sido un año genial, y desde luego el mundo seriéfilo me ha ayudado a ello.

One year ago exactly I turned on my computer to create a TV series' blog. The tittle was the easiest part: it had to do something with Lost. As everything does. One year after, with 270 entries and almost 40.000 visits, here I am, happier than ever. It's been a wonderful year, and I can't deny that the series world has helped me with it. 

He descubierto Los Soprano, la cual en muy poco tiempo pasó de ser una completa desconocida a mi gran amor, convirtiéndose en probablemente la mejor serie que he visto jamás. La muerte de James Gandolini asentó aún más mi amor por la serie y la tristeza por su final.

I have discovered The Sopranos, which started as a complete stranger and became my biggest love, being probably the best series I have ever watched. James Gandolini's death confirmed my love to the series and my sadness towards its end.

Recientemente he descubierto Six Feet Under, que me alegra cada noche. Parece mentira que una serie que trate acerca de la muerte pueda llevar un mensaje tan alegre. Con ella tengo esa maldita sensación mezcla del miedo a que se acabe y la necesidad de saber el final. 

I have recently discovered Six Feet Under, which brightens me up every night. It seems impossible that a death-based series can be that happy. With it I've got that damned feeling of wanting it to end so I can know the finale and having fear of it ending. 

También ha llegado el final de dos grandes series para mí, Breaking Bad  y Dexter, una con un final más acertado y otra con uno que no lo es tanto. Pero no todo son pérdidas, porque también ha habido grandes estrenos, como Masters of Sex y especialmente Orange is the new black.

We also had the ending of two big series, Breaking Bad and Dexter, one with an awesome finale and the other one with one not that good. But not everything is losing, since there have been also two great premieres, Masters of Sex and specially Orange is the new black. 

Podría pasarme horas escribiendo acerca de todo lo que ha pasado este año, pero para eso ya tenéis el blog y todas sus entradas. Y a vosotros, que habéis estado siguiendo mi curso y leyendo mis tonterías, gracias por todo. Y en caso de que alguien se esté planteando hacerme un regalo... ¡En Las Vegas podéis encontrar esto!

The Walking Dead - S04E02 "Infected"

Normalmente no suelo hacer muchas review seguidas de las diferentes series, ya sea porque no ha habido un cambio de guión impresionante o porque el capítulo haya sido regular más bien. Pero esta vez, The Walking Dead se lo merece. Y no porque cumpla los motivos anteriores, sino porque la serie ha llegado a su segundo capítulo y me siento orgullosa de decir que por una vez está yendo por el buen - muy buen - camino. ¿Será esta la temporada que todos esperábamos?

I don't usually make many reviews in a row of any series, maybe because they don't have really important changes in the script or because the episodes have been average, nothing outstanding. But this time, The Walking Dead deserves it. Y not because it's different from the other series, but because it has reached the second episode of the season and maybe it's the first time that it's following a good - very good - path -. Is this the season we have all been waiting for?

Best TV cameos ever

No hay nada mejor que ver a nuestros personajes favoritos aparecer de repente en mitad del escenario de otra serie. Es una milésima de segundo en la que te quedas de piedra y luego chillas "¡¡¡Ehhh!!! ¡Mira quién aparece en este capítulo!". Y ya puede ser un capítulo pésimo que a ti te ha encantado. Pues bien, se me ha ocurrido ir recordándoos poco a poco algunas de esas apariciones, y esta es la primera de las espero que muchas listas de Best TV cameos ever!!

There's nothing better than see our favorite characters appearing in another series' set out of the blue. In just a second we go from be completely shocked to screaming "OMG!!! Look who's in this episode!!!". And it doesn't matter if it turns out being the lamest episode ever, we will love it. Well, I've thought that it might be a good idea to write about those special appearances  and this is the first of I hope many lists of Best TV cameos ever!

Claramente este es mi cameo favorito. Aunque hay apariciones de muchos famosos a lo largo del rodaje de Friends, como la de Brad Pitt ninguna. Gracias a él descubrimos el famoso club anti-Rachel, que la verdad, quién no habría querido formar parte de él alguna vez (especialmente si Brad Pitt estaba en él). 

This is without doubt my favorite cameo. There are many guest stars in Friends, but Brad Pitt's is my favorite. Thanks to him we discover the "I hate Rachel"' club. Who wouldn't have liked to be in it once in a while (specially if Brad Pitt was in it)?
