Doctor Who - Capaldi's Era
Capaldi's era has begun. We had a short beginning with Christopher Eccleston who, despite not being the most loved doctor, was the responsible of making me love this series. We continued with the lady killer David Tennant, whose hair and smile made us fall in love with him. We went on with the crazy Matt Smith, the one with the fez and the fish fingers with custard. And now Capaldi, with his... with his what?

Summer news
¡He vuelto, queridos Whateverianos!
I'm back, Whateverians! After more than one month being completely out of reach and without Internet, I'm back in the civilization (if you are interested, here is where I've been) and in my beloved series' world. Being summer, there haven't been many news, but I have spent a while trying to catch on with the world. For those of y0u that are as lost as I was, here are the most important things to start September as if you had been logged in all summer.
Let's start with the Emmys. I seriously doubt you haven't heard anything about this. Breaking Bad, as it was expected, was the biggest winner of the awards: leading actor (Bryan Cranston), supporting actor (Aaron Paul), supporting actress (Anna Gunn) and script for Ozumandias. In comedy, Modern Family and Jim Parsons were the winners as always, and in the miniseries, Fargo, Sherlock and AHS. The only one that deserved it and that went home without any awards was True Detective, but it is the price they paid for challenging Breaking Bad in the drama category. Here's a video that you have probably already seen in which Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep) promote the Emmys.

Doctor Who - Series 8 teaser
After a few months without knowing anything new about Doctor Who, the BBC has recently said that the eighth season will start this August. It's a weird date to start a new season in my opinion, but I guess the sooner the better! Here's the first teaser of the upcoming season!

I am a Whovian
It all started three months ago, the 24th of November of 2013. That date won't go amiss for most of you. Yes, it's the Day of the Doctor, the day of the 50th anniversary special episode of Doctor Who. My friend Caléndula - whose blog El Jardín de Series was the one that inspired me to make my own - had been a while trying to convince me to watch Doctor Who, and since the episode was on the movies she though it would be a good chance to hook me up. And, without doubt, it was.

Doctor Who - The mini episode
Who, The Day of the Doctor.
The BBC has broadcasted a 7-minutes mini episode as a prequel for the special episode of the 50 years of Doctor Who, The Day of the Doctor. It has a little surprise too, we've been able to see the eight doctor, played by Paul McGann.

Doctor Who - 50 years anniversary
Doctor Who cumple nada menos que 50 años.
Doctor Who has non other than 5o years. The 23rd of November we will be able to watch the 75 minutes episode made for the special occasion. As always, BBC doesn't want to reveal anything about the mysterious episode, but they have showed this trailer that honors the fifty years of the series.
For those of you that don't know the series - and that are in shock after knowing that it has 50 years -, I wanna tell you that there are 97 episodes lost, all of them of the second doctor, Patrick Troughton, since 50 years ago nobody took care of keeping the series. Those 97 episodes have been turned into novels or audiobooks but we know it's not the same. The good news is that BBC has just found eleven of the 97 episodes in Nigeria - WTF? - in a storehouse. So it's good news for the whovians! Here's the promo of the BBC of the just found episodes. I don't know how much I would pay for some lost episodes of Lost.
