Community - Is it really back?

Community has been on the edge since day 1. From the beginning we've feared that it got cancelled since it doesn't have the audience that it deserves, unluckily for the fans. But thanks to them the series is still on. The last season - the forth one - was the most criticized and it would have been cancelled if it wasn't for the return of Dan Harmon and, with him, the essence of the series. Has it been like that?

Magnitude?"

The episode S05E01 can't see it louder. With the title "Repilot", Dan Harmon announces than he's back and Community is going to have a fresh start. In two minutes he solves all the problems that the later showrunner had done, letting all the characters go back to Community - without that the series wouldn't have made sense -. The episode is full of references and mocking to the previous season and among other thing, to the leaving of Pierce - "Don't you guys feel weird doing this without... you know... Magnitude?" and Troy's, who abandons the series after the fifth episode.

The following episodes have been just great. From the appearance of Jonathan Banks as new teacher to the inheritance of Pierce, and don't forget the criminal investigation in "Basic Intergluteal Numismatics". The last episode, "Geothermal Escapism" has been the farewell Paintball-style of Troy, which makes Abed, like us, unable to say goodbye.

With all this I just wanted to tell you that, with only five episodes, Dan Harmon has recovered the essence of the series 100%. It's true that the disappearance of Pierce and Troy will be really difficult to solve, but let's just believe that Dan Harmon has a plan and he's going to make us forget with all those guest stars that are coming in the fifth season. I'm sure the audience will never be as the one of The Walking Dead, but the fans of the series are going to achieve their goal: Six Seasons And A Movie!
